The purpose of Urban Plunge is to enter service in a more reflective and intensive state of mind. For a day and a half, helped at St. Peter's School in the Mission, listened to a local baker on the state of the neighborhood, made and delivered sandwiches with City Team International to people living in Single Room Occupancy Hotels, and toured the Alemany Farmers' Market.
